St. Lawrence’s is an active member of Christians Together in ST8 (formerly Biddulph Churches Together), which works across the denominations to promote the Christian message and values in and around the town of Biddulph.

A minister and lay person represent each church at CT-ST8 planning meetings which are held 3 or 4 times each year.

Christians Together in ST8 promotes the following major events:

• Good Friday witness in the town centre.
• An Open Café on the Town Hall steps as partof the Biddulph Festival each July
• Carol Singing at the Biddulph Christmas Lights Switch-on
• An alternative event for children and families on Hallowe’en
