You're given a warm invitation to this service which takes place each week. Worship is informal and relaxed with songs, a time for prayer, a talk, and opportunities for sharing. Children and young people are very welcome; some Sundays they meet in their own groups for part of the service and, at other times, we all worship together. NRG and NRG+ are St. Lawrence’s exciting midweek groups for children. NRG is for First School Children – Reception to Year 4. NRG+ is for young people from school years 5-8. There are lots of activities and they’re great fun.

Kangas ‘n’ Roos is the name of our Parent/Carer and Toddler Group. We welcome babies and pre-school children to come and play.

We meet together every Tuesday, during school term time, from 1.00pm – 2.30p.m. in the church hall, starting with a packed lunch together. Parents stay with their children and enjoy a cuppa and a natter!

We have lots of toys to play with (fun and educational), a craft corner, mats and toys specifically for babies, bikes and slides for older children and a story time at the end.

Refreshments are served every week: a cuppa and a biscuits for the parents/carers, and fruit, juice, crisps and biscuits for the toddlers. and the cost is only £1.00 per family. The craft is very simple and always ties in with the story. We sing nursery rhymes and end with our own special prayer.
